Say hello to the best doughnut in Chicago, which I don’t say lightly. A whiskey caramel glazed yeast doughnut from Trenchermen, where I dropped by today for a quick photo shoot.

At 35 weeks preggers, my wife has been asking for salmon week after week. I try and and change it up to avoid burn out, and last night it came out below with what I had on hand.

The beans marinated in warm oil mixed with a quick sautée of anchovy, garlic, caper, chili, and oregano. Poured the mix straight from the pan to the Weck jar, where the leftovers still remain—making for all sorts of snacky goodness today.
